The original offset head has been refined from old school to new and maintain it`s culture changing ability. It`s flat scoop helps long pole midfielders on those fast paced ground balls in transition, along without compromising it`s stiffness and durability. Geared for defensive players mainly, but would not steer any offensive threat from stringing one of these puppies up to rip some rope, look at MLL champion Max Quinzani !!!

Why should I get this instead of the blade?

If you are not a face-off specialist or a middle that takes alot of faceoffs the EdgeX would be more your style. EdgeX is superlight and can be used in both high school and college. But heads do come down to feel and personal preference.
